Location

Castelo do Mar can be found on the tip of the northern peninsula on the Bay of Inhambane. This area is called "Linga Linga. Surrounding the villa are coconut forests, as well as Mangrove Swamps.

The town of Inhambane is roughly 550 kilometers north of Maputo, the capital of Mozambique and is accessible 4 times a week from both Jhb International and Maputo International respectively from LAM, Mozambique’s National Airline.

Castelo do Mar is a further 20 minute boat ride from Inhambane.

Alternatively, access by road is possible via Maxixe through to Morrumbene, then 4x4 necessary for the remaining 20 kilometers.
